Rose Tag

Welcome!! It's Wednesday so it is a favorite day of mine since I get to share projects I have made for Heartfelt Creations!! I just love making flowers using the Botanical Floral Stamps by Heartfelt Creations and using the Bella Rose Collection stamps!! When making hand-made flowers, remember that each flower will turn our differently... just as in nature! Look at my two... they are different even though I used the stamps and paper, but each is beautiful I think!

Bella Rose Tag

HC Product Used on This Project:
HCD 716 Elegant Swirl Die
HCPC 3391 Bold Bella Rose PreCut Set
HCPC 3320 Vintage Word Background PreCut Set
HCPC 3394 Classic Bella Rose PreCut Set
HCD 712 Belle Rose Die
HCPC 3407 Botanical Floral 2 PreCut Set
HCPC 3450 Cross and Lilies PreCut Set
159223 Paper Blossoms Molding Mat

Other: manila file folder cardstock, cream and white cardstock, Distress Inks (bundled sage, scattered straw, vintage photo, crushed olive, old paper, victorian velvet), water mister, heat tool, Picket Fence Distress Stain, Recollections Foliage Rhiniestone Stickers, Memento Rich Cocoa ink, Copics (R81, R83, R85, G82, G85), embossing stylus, McGill Tall Ticket punch, mini paper clip, Ideaology pin, ribbon, lace, tiny attacher, foam tape, glue dots, vintage ribbons and fibers.

4-1/8 x 8.75 Tag. Die cut the Elegant Swirl Die for the top of the tag using manila file folder cardstock. It is easiest to just make the die cut then trim sides to the die cut width. Ink the tag by directly swiping the ink pads randomly to the tag using bundled sage, scattered straw, vintage photo and crushed olive. Spritz the tag with water to move the ink around. Dry with heat tool. Apply the Picket Fence Stain in vertical swipes, covering the entire tag. Dry with heat tool. Stamp the Bold Bella Rose randomly on tag using bundled sage ink. Stamp the Vintage Word Background using old paper ink and stamp it repeatedly to fill up the tag, but do not overlap the words. Heat set the inks. Stick on the foliage rhinestones. Stamp the Classic Bella Rose on white cardstock using Rich Cocoa Memento ink. Color with Copics. Die cut the rose out. Color edges of die cut to make it look more finished. Stamp 12 of the largest flower of the Botanical Floral 2 Set using Rich Cocoa ink on cream card stock and die cut all flowers out. 6 flowers will make one completed rose. Shape and form the flowers using the Paper Blossoms Molding Mat and embossing stylus. Crinkle some petals. Curl some petals using the stylus or a paint brush. Assemble flowers and glue each layer together. Ink petal edges with victorian velvet Distress ink. Punch a ticket and ink with bundled sage and vintage photo inks. Stamp “Hugs” from the Cross and Lilies Set using bundled sage ink. Randomly stamp the “thorn” image from the Classic Bella Rose Set using scattered straw ink on the ticket. Assemble tag. Attach ribbon and lace with tiny attacher. Adhere Bella Rose with foam tape and weave the stem into the lace ribbon. Adhere handmade roses using glue dots. Attach ticket with mini paper clip. Add vintage ribbon and fibers at top of tag by threading through the die cut and then add a pin to secure.

Give flower making a try! The Heartfelt stamps really make beautiful flowers. Visit the Heartfelt blog for lots of inspiration and the gallery too!
