Clematis Angel Tag
Yippee... my favorite day of the week!! It's the day I share what I have made for Heartfelt Creations!! This week I used some of the newly released stamps from the Floral Cross Collection. Don't the clematis stamps make pretty Easter Lilies? I love being able to use stamps for many projects and to blend them together. Heartfelt stamps from different collections go so well with each other... like using the Christmas Angel. Afterall, Angels are symbols of Hope, just like Easter Lilies.
This week, Heartfelt Creations on their blog is asking for you to vote on your 5 or more favorite current Design Team members. It's being done in conjunction with their Design Team Call and will determine which current design team members get to continue on for another 6 month term. I would love to continue and hope you have enjoyed and received inspiration from my Heartfelt creations. If so, please visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog and give me a vote! thanks. :o) And Heartfelt is giving away a $50 gift certificate to one lucky person who votes!

Other: Manila tag, Distress Inks (tumbled glass, broken china, antique linen, frayed burlap, vintage photo, walnut stain, gathered twigs, black soot), blending tool, removable 2-sided tape, pearl Perfect Pearls spray, Spica Gold Glitter Pen and Clear Glitter pen, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Neenah white cardstock, colored pencils, G45 lace ribbon, double looped heart charm, Martha Stewart Scroll Heart punch, MeLody Ross Word Stickers, Ideaology clip ring, Ideaology button, organza ribbon, heat tool.
3-7/8 x 7.25 inch tag. Ink the manila tag very randomly with tumbled glass and broken china Distress inks, leaving majority of tag un-inked. Stamp Angel using antique linen Distress ink. Create a mask for the angel by die cutting an angel with the matching Christmas Cheer Die. Apply removable 2-sided to the mask and place over the stamped angel. Ink more of the tag’s edges with frayed burlap, vintage photo, walnut stain, and tumbled glass Distress inks. Using walnut stain ink, stamp the Music from the Book Frame 1 Set several times to fill up the tag. Remove the angel mask. Spray the tag with pearl Perfect Pearls. Dry with heat tool. Replace the angel mask. Stamp the Large Flourish around the tag’s edges using gathered twigs Distress ink. Stamp the Small Twining Clematis randomly around the tag edges using black soot Distress ink. Remove the mask and dry ink with heat tool. Go over the Angel image with Spica Gold Glitter pen. Stamp the Lily Spray and the Scroll and Candles on white cardstock. Color images with pencils. Apply Spica Clear Glitter pen to the lilies and then add yellow pencil for the stamens. Cut out the images and ink edges with vintage photo ink. Cut a slit at the bottom of Angel’s dress to slide the Lily Spray under. Layer the images over beige lace ribbon. Finish the tag by adding a bit of lace ribbon, a double looped heart charm, a Martha Stewart Scroll Heart punch inked with broken china ink, a fancy button (clip off the shank), and some chipboard word stickers. Attach a ring clip at top of tag with a brad. Distress the brad with a hammer. Add some organza ribbon to the ring and gently heat the ribbon to crinkle it.
Visit the HC Blog to see all the beautiful creations by the rest of the Design Team. After that, go grab your inks and play a little!!
Now I have to play catch-up! DH and I have been on vacation to the Daytona 500 and Disney World for the last couple of weeks... we had an absolute blast, but it's always nice to be home again and get back into my routine.
